A Spicejet Boeing 737-800, registration VT-SXA performing flight SG-17 (dep Jul 3rd) from Dubai (United Arab Emirates) to Kochi (India), landed on Kochi's runway 27 but burst a tyre on landing. The aircraft, that had departed from Dubai with a delay of about 10.5 hours, rolled out without further incident and taxied to the apron.

The airline reported that a post flight inspection revealed the #2 tyre had burst. The flight and the landing had been smooth.
