A Swiss International Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration HB-JLP performing flight
LX-560 from Zurich (Switzerland) to Nice (France), received takeoff clearance from Zurich's runway 28, when about 20 seconds later the crew announced they were stopping after rejecting the takeoff at low speed (below 20 knots over ground). The aircraft vacated the runway and returned to the apron.
The flight was cancelled.
According to information The Aviation Herald received the left hand engine (CFM56) failed.
The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground about 26 hours after the rejected takeoff.
