LX-1843 from Athens (Greece) to Zurich (Switzerland), was enroute at FL320 about 140nm northwest of Athens when the crew decided to return to Athens due to a fault with the smoke detection. The aircraft safely landed back at Athens about one hour after departure.
The aircraft remained on the ground for about 3:40 hours, then departed again and reached Zurich with a delay of about 4:50 hours.
