A Westjet Boeing 737-700, registration C-GSWJ performing flight WS-131 from Calgary,AB to Vancouver,BC (Canada) with 132 passengers and 5 crew, was accelerating for takeoff from Calgary's runway 35L when the crew rejected takeoff at high speed after the left hand engine (CFM56) ingested a bird at 18:04L (03:04Z Jun 27th). The aircraft came to a safe stop on the runway, however, the brakes seized disabling the aircraft on the runway. Passengers and crew disembarked onto the runway and were bussed to the terminal.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance replaced the seized brakes and the aircraft was subsequently towed to a maintenance hangar for further inspections.
