A Westjet Boeing 737-700, registration C-FUWS performing flight
WS-1571 from Denver,CO (USA) to Calgary,AB (Canada), was accelerating for takeoff from Denver's runway 08 when the crew rejected takeoff at high speed (about 100 knots over ground). The aircraft came to a stop on the runway, emergency services responded and reported both left main tyres were blown, the aircraft was on its rim. The passengers disembarked via stairs and were bussed to the terminal.
The aircraft was towed off the runway about an hour later.
The airline reported the crew safely rejected takeoff, the crew declared an emergency. The passengers are being re-accommodated.
