IW-1384 from Banjarmasin to Balikpapan (Indonesia), was on final approach to Balikpapan's runway 25 when the right hand engine (PW127M) shut down. The aircraft continued for a safe landing.
Indonesia's KNKT rated the occurrence a serious incident and opened an investigation reporting: "During the final approach to Balikpapan, engine number 2 shut down, the pilot continued the landing by performing a single-engine checklist and benefiting from clear weather and little wind."
