An ANA All Nippon Airways Boeing 787-9, registration JA888A performing flight
NH-801 from Tokyo Narita (Japan) to Singapore (Singapore) with 30 passengers and 11 crew, was enroute at FL380 over the Pacific Ocean about 480nm southwest of Tokyo when the captain felt unwell complaining about stomach problems. The crew decided to turn around and return to Tokyo where the aircraft landed safely about 2.5 hours after departure.
The flight was cancelled.
Japan's Ministry of Transport reported the captain complained about abdominal pain.
