An Air Canada Bombardier C-Series CS-300, registration C-GTZH performing flight AC-1162 from Fort McMurray,AB to Toronto,ON (Canada) with 109 people on board, was climbing out of Fort McMurray's runway 26 when upon selecting the gear up the crew heard a loud bang and observed a weight on wheels (WOW) as well as a "Gear Fail" message. The crew worked the related checklists and decided to divert to Edmonton,AB leaving the gear extended. The aircraft landed safely in Edmonton about 80 minutes after departure.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance found the nose gear oleo deflated and completed the associated repairs.
