A Delta Airlines Airbus A330-300, registration N820NW performing flight
DL-276 from Boston,MA (USA) to Nice (France) with 266 people on board, was climbing out of Boston's runway 04R when the crew donned their oxygen masks, declared Mayday reporting smoke in the cockpit. The aircraft levelled off at 10,000 feet and returned to Boston for a safe landing on runway 15R about 20 minutes after departure.
The aircraft is still on the ground about 18 hours after landing back.
