An Avion Express Malta Airbus A320-200 on behalf of Eurowings, registration 9H-AML performing flight
EW-2516 from Stuttgart (Germany) to Bilbao,SP (Spain), was climbing out of Stuttgart's runway 07 when the crew stopped the climb at 5000 feet due to problems with the landing gear. The aircraft returned to Stuttgart for a safe landing on runway 07 about 20 minutes after departure.
The airline reported the crew received a warning indication for the landing gear.
The aircraft remained on the ground for about 47.5 hours then departed for a test flight.
