An Air France Airbus A318-100, registration F-GUGR performing flight
AF-1448 from Paris Charles de Gaulle (France) to Barcelona,SP (Spain), was climbing through FL300 out of Paris when the crew initiated an emergency descent to FL100, the passenger oxygen masks were released, and decided to return to Paris, where the aircraft landed safely on runway 26L about 45 minutes after departure.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Paris about 26 hours after landing.
The airline reported a cabin pressurization malfunction, the crew released the passenger oxygen masks, the cabin altitude had not yet reached the altitude for automatic release.
