A Jetsmart Airbus A320-200, registration LV-HVT performing flight
JA-3168 from Neuquen,NE to Buenos Aires Aeroparque,BA (Argentina), was accelerating for takeoff form Neuquen's runway 27 when the crew rejected takeoff at high speed (about 130 knots over ground) due to an animal impact. The aircraft slowed safely and returned to the apron.
Following checks the aircraft was able to depart about 70 minutes later and reached Buenos Aires with a delay of about 55 minutes.
Argentina's JST have opened an investigation into the occurrence.
