A Lufthansa Airbus A350-900, registration D-AIXC performing flight
LH-742 from Munich (Germany) to Osaka (Japan), was enroute at FL370 over Romania near Bucharest (Romania) when the crew decided to return to Munich due to hydraulic problems. The aircraft descended to FL360 and landed safely back on Munich's runway 26L with open gear doors about 3:10 hours after departure. The aircraft vacated the runway and stopped clear of the runway. The aircraft was subsequently towed to the apron.
The aircraft is still on the ground about 49 hours after landing.
