A Ryanair Boeing 737-800, registration EI-EKC performing flight FR-999 from Rome Fiumicino (Italy) to Valencia,SP (Spain), was on final approach to Valencia's runway 30 when the crew initiated a go around from about 1000 feet AGL due to a problem with the flaps. The aircraft climbed to 4000 feet maintaining a speed below 200 knots over ground, positioned for another approach to runway 30 and landed safely but with a higher than normal speed (about 161 knots over ground) about 30 minutes after the go around.

A passenger reported the aircraft went around on first approach and entered a hold with flaps extended at what the passenger believed was 35 degrees, then after about 30 minutes landed with emergency trucks surrounding the aircraft. The crew never indicated what problem they had, cabin crew only repeatedly reminded passengers to have their seat belts fastened.
