A SAS Scandinavian Airlines Airbus A320-200N, registration SE-ROE performing flight SK-2026 from Stockholm to Umea (Sweden) with 50 people on board, was on final approach to Umea's runway 32 when an engine (LEAP) ingested a number of sea gulls. The aircraft continued for a safe landing.

The aircraft was unable to depart for the return flight on schedule. A maintenance team was flown in to assess the aircraft, which subsequently was able to perform the return flight SK-2027 with a delay of 6 hours.
