NT-380 from Las Palmas,CI to Valverde,CI (Spain), was enroute at FL120 about 20nm south of Tenerife South,CI (Spain) when the crew decided to divert to Tenerife South due to a suspected fuel leak. The aircraft landed safely on Tenerife's runway 07 about 12 minutes later.
The aircraft remained on the ground in Tenerife for about 2.5 hours, then resumed service.
