A Ryanair Boeing 737-8 MAX, registration EI-HGS performing flight
FR-4019 from Alicante,SP (Spain) to Copenhagen (Denmark), was enroute at FL300 about 120nm northeast of Alicante when the crew reported an indication of a possible technical issue related to an engine (LEAP) and decided to return to Alicante, initially maintaining FL300. The aircraft landed safely on Alicante's runway 10 about 40 minutes later.
A replacement Malta Air Boeing 737-8 MAX registration 9H-VUU reached Copenhagen with a delay of about 2:45 hours.
The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Alicante about 29 hours after landing back.
