A Ryanair Boeing 737-800, registration EI-EFH performing flight FR-3507 from Alicante,SP (Spain) to Milan Bergamo (Italy) with 191 passengers and 6 crew, was accelerating for takeoff from Alicante's runway 10 when the crew felt the rudder became unusually stiff making it harder with increasing speed to keep the aircraft on the centerline of the runway. The crew rejected takeoff before V1 due to the worsening condition and vacated the runway.

Spain's CIAIAC opened an investigation into the occurrence.

The aircraft positioned from Alicante to Madrid,SP (Spain) and back on Aug 14th 2025 (5 days later) and is still on the ground in Alicante on Aug 21st 2026.
